About Us & Mission Statement
The Treatment Helpline is an online resource and helpline for addiction treatment information, offering advice to those who are ready to take the first step towards a life in recovery and providing support to those concerned about a loved one. Addiction is a chronic brain disease that affects millions of people every day, yet the vast majority do not get the help that they need. Obstacles to addiction treatment include social stigmas, family and job issues and concerns about cost.
Our mission at The Treatment Helpline is to provide quality information and guidance for those who are affected by addiction. We provide resources on the disease of addiction and treatment programs while debunking addiction myths and raising awareness that insurance benefits can cover addiction treatment costs. The Treatment Helpline is a privately operated entity that is owned and sponsored by Sunspire Health, a leading national provider of behavioral health services with addiction treatment programs across the country. We offer support for those affected by addiction in the hopes that we can guide them to a life in recovery at one of our centers or with another treatment provider.
Whether a person who reaches out to us has no insurance, government insurance or private insurance, we will advise them of the most suitable, available treatment options based on their individual needs. We do not discriminate! We believe that everyone deserves access to the resources they need to make informed decisions about their health. When it comes to addiction, having access to these resources can be the difference between life and death. One phone call can save a life, and we are motivated by this fact every day.
